Michael is the Owner of MCA Consulting, LLC and MCA Safety Services, LLC. He has been a consultant partner with long-term care owners, operators, and affiliates for more than 20 years. Devoted to incident management programs, MCA guides healthcare employers toward OSHA and Life Safety compliance as well as refining their workers’ compensation management programs. MCA continually consults with safety/health professionals and occupational legal experts across the nation to provide its clients with up-to-date regulatory and inspection trends in the healthcare industry. Michael is Chair of the ANHA Life Safety Committee, and a graduate of Jacksonville State University with a B.S. in Occupational Safety and Health Administration. He is a licensed nursing home administrator in Alabama with more than 25 years of loss/cost control experience.
Austin Brown
MCA Safety Services, LLC
Austin is the Manager at MCA Safety Services, LLC. In 2016, he graduated from Jacksonville State University with a 4.0 GPA and B.S. degrees in both Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Applied Manufacturing Management. He has over 7 years experience working exclusively in Occupational Safety in both the manufacturing and healthcare sectors. Austin joined the MCA team early in 2021 amid the COVID-19 pandemic to provide additional support to MCA clients dealing with everchanging CDC guidance and OSHA requirements. He develops policies and procedures, provides training resources, conducts site visits in preparation for OSHA inspections, and assists owners, operators, and affiliates in keeping up to date on their safety management requirements.
Christie Arther

Christie is the co-founder and executive assistant for MCA Consulting, LLC and its affiliates. She graduated from Wallace State as a licensed physical therapist assistant and has over 20 years experience in long term care. Christie has been involved directly and indirectly with MCA Consulting since its inception in 2000.
