Welcome to the Essential Power System (EPS) Assessment Process. Ensuring the reliability, safety, and compliance of essential power systems is vital for critical facilities such as Long-Term Care (LTC) providers. This assessment process is designed to assess the configuration of panels within Level 1 essential power systems, focusing on the Life Safety, Critical, and Equipment branches. The objective is to identify the LTC operator’s system capacity to provide seamless power transfer, adherence to industry standards, and compliance with CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) regulations in healthcare settings.
